The mission of the Workforce Solutions of Central Texas System is to provide quality education, training and labor market services which give businesses and residents of the Central Texas region a competitive advantage in the global economy.

#WFSCTx board members are appointed by local officials and work in tandem with the State of Texas to develop policies and guidelines, and to provide oversight of the local workforce investment system.

What We Do

In Texas, twenty-eight Workforce Boards - which include ours - are responsible for:

  • Developing local plans for the use of Workforce
  • Investment Act funds Oversight of the local service delivery system
  • Workforce Solutions offices Coordinating activities with economic development entities and employers in their local areas

Board membership includes individuals representing business and industry, economic development agencies, community-based organizations, education, organized labor, public assistance agencies and more.

The Board for Workforce Solutions of Central Texas The area are responsible for an area comprised of 7 counties: Bell, Coryell, Lampasas, San Saba, Milam and Mills.

We provide services for job seekers and busineses that are designed to keep businesses supplying the workforce with quality employment in exchange for a highly skilled workforce.
